International standard process for grafting eyelashes
Eyelash extensions are a very popular beauty technique nowadays, so today, we are going to share with you the standard process of professional eyelash extensions.
Eyelash extensions are not only the process of extensions, a truly experienced and skilled eyelash technician can do every step of the process, whether it's understanding the needs in the early stages, preparing the tools and eyelash extensions in the middle of the eyelash design, or checking the results and carefully instructing in the later stages.
Grafting steps
1. Grooming instrument
Personal grooming for an eyelash artist. First of all, the eyelashes artist's clothing should be neatly dressed, which can be replaced by tooling. Long hair must be tied up to prevent it from hitting the customer's face. Masks must be worn. When we communicate with customers, we should prevent saliva from splashing, and the second is to prevent the breath from hitting the freshly prepared eyelashes. Otherwise, the place with glue at the root of the eyelashes will turn white.
2. Questions to ask customers before grafting
·Whether there is a history of allergies, and whether they are prone to allergies. If you encounter such customers, you should inform them of allergies in advance before grafting. You should be very careful when grafting, or simply not graft.
·What kind of style and effect do you want to graft, and give reasonable grafting suggestions according to the customer's preference, eye shape, and their own eyelashes.
3. Tool preparation
Before grafting to the customer, the eyelash artist must prepare the tools and materials needed in advance, put them in a trolley or an eyelash box, and put them in a place where they can easily get it. It is forbidden to get up and leave to take things during the operation for customers. The tools for grafting eyelashes should also be disinfected to ensure the hygiene and safety of the tools used in the use process.
4. Disinfection
After the customer lies down, place the head wrap on the customer's forehead. The purpose of the head wrap is to cover the customer's forehead and prevent direct contact with the customer's skin. Before the formal operation, the eyelash technician will disinfect the hands with a professional hand disinfectant, followed by disinfecting the tools. Customers will wait for a while during the disinfection process, so the eyelash technician can inform them that the disinfection of hands and tools is being carried out to make them feel that the store is more professional.
5. Makeup removal and eyelash cleaning
If the customer comes in with eye makeup, the eyelash technician should remove the makeup first, and use an oil-free makeup remover, such as makeup remover or makeup remover pads. After the makeup is removed, start cleaning the lashes. When cleaning, wet a dust-free cotton pad with eyelash cleanser and gently wipe the oil and dust from the eyelashes and skin. Since the cleaning solution contains a certain amount of water, make sure to dry with a hair dryer after wiping to avoid affecting the adhesion of the glue of the subsequent eyelash extensions.
6. Apply eye patch and straighten
After cleaning, separate the upper and lower lashes of the client with eye patches. Make sure to cover the lower lashes completely to prevent the lashes from sticking together. At the same time, the upper eyelid is taped and lifted to facilitate the extensions so that the lashes do not get mixed up when the extensions are applied. Afterwards, the client's own lashes are smoothed out with a lash comb.
7. Prepare the glue
Everything is ready, the glue will be fully awake glue, drop out the appropriate amount of glue on the glue table for backup (do not drop out the glue in advance, so as not to take too long to affect the stickiness). Dripping out of the glue is recommended to replace every 15-20 minutes, and the glue stickers together to avoid repeated drops of glue and expired glue overlap.
8. Eyelash extensions
There are several important points about the extensions: the false eyelashes are taken at 1/3 of the whole eyelash, the root of the extensions must be at a safe distance of about 0.5-1.5mm from the skin, not too close, and the extensions are kept at a certain distance from the next eyelash to be attached to avoid mutual adhesion, while the root must not be cocked.
9. Check the result
After the extensions are completed, the eyelash technician should check if the shape of the two eyes is uniform and use the eyelash inspection mirror to check if they are firmly attached.
10. Blow dry and comb the lashes
After checking that there are no problems, use a small fan to blow dry the lashes, usually for about 5 minutes, and then use a lash comb to straighten them.
Remove the eye patch and tape, wipe the eyelid with a tissue or dry cotton pad, and the eyelash artist should carefully observe and ask the guest how they feel, and solve or give advice in a timely manner.
Not every eyelash technician may have the same eyelash extension process, but I believe every good eyelash technician is truly attentive to serve the guests. May every guest be able to see the beautiful world with moving eyes!
